Dedicated News Feed
Similar to your personal Facebook News Feed, your Page will now feature its own News Feed. This will offer another way for you to interact with Page fans and followers as well as explore suggestions for other Pages, groups, and relevant content. What’s more, people will be able to follow your Page directly from your comments on posts, providing yet another opportunity for them to engage with your business online.
Custom Access Controls
With changes to Page management tools, you’ll now be able to grant various levels of access to different users. This means that you can give people on your team the “keys” to specific areas, like Ads, Messages, and more, meaning you can tailor which team member can see and engage with what.
Say Goodbye to Likes
Facebook will be shifting focus away from likes and onto followers as a way to streamline how people connect with Pages. While this may sound like a disappointing development for those of us who are used to Page likes as a measurement of followership, moving away from this in favor of followers will actually give us a more precise idea of who actually tracks with your Page’s posts and updates.
If you haven’t seen these updates to your Page yet, not to worry! According to Facebook, it will still take a few months for them to take effect for all Pages across the platform.
