As we’ve stated many times before, WhiskerCloud was created to modernize the veterinary industry. We don’t just accomplish this with technology; we accomplish this because we actually care about you, your veterinary practice, and the digital persona that you’re creating online. Our sites are better than our competitors because of our attention to detail, and of course, superior technology.

This week, we had a new client join the WhiskerCloud family. His current website is with one of the other guys, and he was so upset about some things on the website, he was ready for something more. Of course, we found even more problems with his website after going through all pages on the site.

We’re not sharing this information to shame a competitor; we’re sharing this information to educate you on how your website could be turning off potential patients.

1. The phone number was wrong on the website. Apparently, our doctor has asked them to change it multiple times over multiple months, and yet, he continued to get phone calls on his personal phone number. Even worse, his personal number was on Google, leading to more spam on his personal line. He told us, “At least I was on the fourth page of Google, so it wasn’t too bad.” We gasped! Fourth page of Google?! Not acceptable.

2. Check out this sweet bio! *facepalm*

3. Something seems off with these testimonials. Well, we can tell you more than a few things wrong with these testimonials. 1. Our doctor is not named Dr. Anderson. 2. He does not live in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Kansas City. 3. Does it seem odd that these three cities were chosen? He’s in Connecticut, by the way. 4. I’m sure they could have come up with a better name than “John Doe.”

4. We had a good laugh over this on his homepage. Two scrolling testimonials on his homepage. The first from Jane D. and the second from Dane J. Come on, guys! You’re better than that.
